オーストリア、ブレゲンツ近郊で活動するベルナルド・バーダーの特集号。オーストリア最西部のフォアアールベルグ出身で豊富な木資源と産業に囲まれて育ったバーダーは素材に素直な空間デザインを得意とし、地元産の木材を外装・内装ともに使用するなど場所に適した設計を行っている。本特集号では住宅を中心に保育園、教会、商業施設ほか全17作品を紹介する。
