ノルウェーを拠点に活動する若手建築家等が編集する、北欧発の新しい季刊誌「CONDITIONS」。独自のネットワークによる様々な寄稿者の論説やインタビュー、実験的プロジェクトを掲載する。

今号の特集は「THE PRODUCTION OF added value」。建築における「付加価値」の作り出し方をテーマに掲げて、フランスの気鋭の建築家ラカトン&ヴァッサルのアン・ラカトンとのインタビューから始まり、アメリカやブラジルを始めベルギーやノルウェーなど世界中から建築の「付加価値」の作り出し方における多様な切り口を紹介する論考を掲載。リーマンショック以後の世界的状況下で「more for less」を求めるクライアントに対し建築家たちがどのように建築を豊かにできるかを考える宿題が沢山入っている。
